Individual Service Plans are written for each child immediately following an intake. These plans address specific concerns with each child including medical needs, educational needs, behavioral and emotional concerns, and others.

The Creative Curriculum is utilized at the House to ensure all the children are learning and growing during their stay at Isabel's House.

Children are transported to their home school within the Springfield Public School District.

The children receive new shoes and other personal items at the time of admission, and they wear clothing provided by Isabel's House during their stay. Each child goes home with a new outfit, their new shoes, a pair of pajamas, new and used books, a tote bag, and other items.


Family Services:
The Family Advocates work to set short-term goals with the parents at the time of intake. The Family Advocates also educate the parents at the time of intake on the appropriate referrals and resources that will help meet the immediate needs of the crisis.

The Family Advocates follow-up with the parents for up to a year after the children discharge to continue to provide support and referrals.


Medical Program:
Each child receives a well-child exam within 72 hours of admission. The staff are also trained and certified to pass medications.


Meals & Nutrition:
Each menu was created with a nutritionist to ensure the meals are well-balanced.Special dietary concerns are taken into consideration when necessary, including and allergens and cultural concerns.
